Benling Chinese EV manufacturer to invest big in India next year for expansion.

Benling is a Chinese electric two-wheeler brand that currently offers 3 e-scooters in the Indian market. The company is planning to invest Rs. 100 crores in India by April next year. The EV maker is considering to expand their presence in our country by setting up multiple manufacturing units.

They have an assembling unit at Manesar, Haryana that they plan to expand into a manufacturing facility which will be their first manufacturing plant in India. The second production plant is planned to be in Chennai followed by manufacturing facilities in Pune, Kolkata and Guwahati.

Benling is considering India as their second manufacturing base after China. They aim to have a full-fledged manufacturing plant in the country. In the near future Benling plans to export their EVs from India.

Currently the EV maker has a production capacity of 3000 units per month. They are planning to expand it to 10,000 units per month followed by 15,000 units in a month. Out of these, around 5000 units are planned for export markets.

Benling offers 3 e-scooters in India currently – Kriti, Falcon and Icon. They are preparing to launch a high-speed electric bike in January.
