BMW X2 Concept Unveiled At Paris Motor Show

The BMW X2 Concept is based on the architecture of the X1 and will come with petrol and diesel engines.

The X2 has a very bold look and the styling is aggressive

BMW has lifted the veils off the X2 concept at the Paris Motor Show. The X2 concept showcases a crossover whose production version will be launched in late 2017 or early 2018. The BMW X2 carries a very different design than what we’re used to seeing on regular BMWs and the company says that it is meant for active people who want enjoyment and practicality.

The BMW X2 comes with a large kidney grille and it is flanked by laser headlights on either side. The headlights are complemented by a sharp looking bumper with a wide air dam. The side profile looks sporty while the ORVMs have been designed aerodynamically. Just like the front, the rear also gets a very loud design and the X2 manages to give out that aggressive look.

The treaded tyres are wrapped around 21-inch wheels. The production version of the X2 will continue to come with the sloping roof line and it will get a 5-door layout. Since it will be underpinned by the X1’s platform, it will be a front-wheel-drive vehicle and AWD will be offered as an option. The X2 will be offered with petrol and diesel engines from the current line-up.
