First Electric Motorcycle Under LiveWire Brand To Be Called The ‘One’

Harley-Davidson LiveWire Electric Bike Brand
Harley recently launched the LiveWire as a separate electric motorcycle brand

The LiveWire One will be launched On 8th July in the USA

LiveWire the electric vehicle (EV) offshoot of Harley-Davidson, will name its first motorcycle the ‘One’ and launch it on 8th July.

According to Harley-Davidson’s Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) filing, the LiveWire One will come with a maximum output of 101 HP (75.3 kW).

This is close to the 104.6 HP (78) peak power output that the LiveWire (the electric motorcycle sold under Harley-Davidson) has.

The model code of the LiveWire One is LW1, while internally it has been code-named the ‘XB’. No other detail about the motorcycle is known at the moment.

The new bike should come packed with new age technology

However, one can expect the electric bike to have modern styling with cues taken from Harley’s past models. Also, the motorcycle should be rather pricey, as electric bikes invariably are these days.

It should be pitched as an urban commuter, with a claimed range of about 100 miles (161 km) combined and 150 miles (241 km) in the city.

Harley-Davidson had revealed in May that the new electric motorcycle will be showcased at the International Motorcycle Show (IMS) in the USA from the very next day after its launch.

However, the venue where the show was supposed to take place in California has since pulled out and now, it is expected that the bike will be displayed at the next IMS stop in Sonoma (also in California) between 16th and 18th July.
