Hear The Kawasaki Ninja H2R’s Exhaust Note On A Dyno Run

The Kawasaki Ninja H2R does an intense run on the Dyno with a monstrous exhaust note while spitting fire.

The power output claimed from the dyno run was 296 HP

The Kawasaki Ninja H2R has indeed been one of the most awaited hyper bikes of the year that will also be the Japanese manufacturer defining bike for the next twenty odd years or so. While the street legal offerings need to be barred with respect to performance and exhaust sounds, this track only hyper beast comes with no inhibitions and has been let completely loose to scorch the tarmac at every given occasion. However, the H2R is not for the faint hearted and this dyno run is just a glimpse on what Kawasaki’s flagship bike is actually capable of.

The lucky guys at Cycle World magazine got a one-on-one chance to run the Kawasaki Ninja H2R on the company’s in-house dyno receiving a chance to experience the unadulterated power first hand. While the output has been claimed around 296 HP from this particular dyno run, power is said to be in excess of 300 HP. You can hear the mind boggling exhaust note howling all the way to the top in the 6th gear. If you still aren’t impressed, there is also a fireworks display with the H2R spitting fire and the stainless steel exhaust glow red due to the massive heat; and all of that happens in a matter of seconds.

Unveiled at EICMA 2014 earlier this month, the Kawasaki Ninja H2R is powered by a 998cc supercharged liquid-cooled inline-four engine, while the body is made up extensively of carbon fibre that offers extensive weight savings and added strength to take on the insanely high speeds. Based on a steel trellis frame, Kawasaki has also used carbon fibre upper and lower wings to improve stability, while the supercharger spins at around 1,40,000 RPM, which is 10 times faster than the engine RPM.
