Hero MotoCorp Sells 10 Lakh Bikes In 35 Days In Festive Season

Hero MotoCorp has registered sales of more than 10 lakh units during the 35-day long festive season which recently ended.

The recently launched Duet and Maestro Edge have received good demand

The festive season is one golden period for the two-wheeler and four-wheeler markets in India. Buyers flock showrooms to buy their favourite vehicles while companies also offer attractive deals to rake in more sales. Hero MotoCorp has some of the highest selling two-wheelers in the country and the company has recorded sales of more than 10 lakh units which is quite mind-boggling to say the least.

Hero MotoCorp recently launched the new Maestro Edge as well as the Duet in the country and both these scooters seem to be picking up very good sales. Apart from these, other two-wheelers like the Passion Pro, Glamour, Pleasure and Maestro have also witnessed a hike in sales which has led Hero to achieve this milestone. Hero’s entry-level bike, the Splendor has always been one of the highest-selling bikes in the country and that alone contributes to more than 2 lakh sales every month.

The festive season lasted for 35 days starting with the Navratras and Hero MotoCorp booked a growth of 11% as compared to the same period last year. The company has stated that they want to take this growth forward for the rest of the year too. The top 20 selling two-wheelers every month also has a lot of products from this stable and Hero sure knows the Indian automobile market inside out.

However, rivals are also not far behind, with Honda trying to chase Hero MotoCorp at a very fast pace. The Activa and the Splendor have a very intense battle going on for the position of the highest selling two-wheeler in the country. Both of them clock more than 2 lakh units every month and are known for their reliability and low cost of ownership.
