Kawasaki, KTM, Bajaj & Maruti Products Can Now Be Purchased On Flipkart

Flipkart is offering customers from Bangalore the option to book their preferred Bajaj, KTM, Kawasaki or Maruti vehicle online.

The booking amount for all bikes online is a standard Rs. 3000/-

The web is the future and e-commerce is the next big platform that has found a lot of support in the Indian auto industry. From Mahindra, Nissan to Hero MotoCorp; some very big names have made their presence felt online in the e-commerce section by introducing their offerings on retail websites. Following on the same lines, Bangalore based dealerships have listed offerings from Bajaj, KTM, Kawasaki and Maruti on Flipkart for online purchase.

The Automobiles section on Flipkart lists everything from Bajaj Auto’s lineup including the entry-level CT100, Discover 125, new Avenger series and the complete Pulsar series. The KTM Duke and RC 200 and 390 are also part of the list while Kawasaki’s lineup starts from the Z250 going up to the Ninja 1000. The range-topping ZX-10R, ZX-14R and H2 have been termed as out of stock on the website. Irrespective of the bike you wish to purchase, the online booking amount has been set at Rs. 3000/- while the final on-road price needs to be paid at the dealership after completing the requisite paperwork.

In the case of Maruti Suzuki cars, the automaker’s entire mainstream range (excluding NEXA offerings) starting from the Alto 800, Alto K10, Wagon R, Celerio, Omni, Ritz, Swift, DZire and Ciaz are listed on the website with a common booking amount of Rs. 10,000/-. The remaining paperwork needs to be completed by the customer at the dealership. Encouraging customers to adopt the online route, Flipkart is offering customers gift vouchers worth Rs. 10,000/- on every successful transaction i.e. after the delivery is complete.

At present, sales are restricted within Bangalore itself and are being conducted by Khivraj Motors for two-wheelers. For Maruti cars, Kalyani Motors is the go to dealer in the city and will be handling everything from the documentation to delivery of the vehicle. Flipkart lists every detail of the vehicle along with the on-road price breakup (subject to change), colour options and variants.
