Latest entrant in the superbike category, the Kawasaki Ninja H2 has taken the world by storm with its ‘alienish’ styling and over the top performance figures. Kawasaki will be officially launching the Ninja H2 superbike in India on 3rd April at the Buddh International Circuit and the motorcycle will be priced at Rs. 33.56 lakhs (on-road, Mumbai). Bookings for the superbike have already started for an amount of Rs. 10 lakhs, but the H2 has already been sold out in India. Those who are looking to buy the latest Kwacker, will have to wait for another year.

Just recently, one unit of the Kawasaki Ninja H2 has been imported to India from the manufacturer’s home country, Japan and the imported H2 sports the commonly seen Grey colour scheme. The import value is Rs. 8.77 lakhs. As a reminder, the superfast Ninja H2 is powered by a 998cc, in-line four-cylinder supercharged engine that gives out a mind boggling 200 PS of power at 11,000 RPM and 133 Nm of twisting force delivered at 10,500 RPM. The motorcycle is paired to a 6-speed transmission by a wet multiplate clutch and weighs in at 238 kgs, offering an immaculate power-to-weight ratio of 0.88 BHP per kg.

The Kawasaki Ninja H2 can hit 100 km/hr from standstill in just 2.5 seconds before reaching a top whack of over 300 km/hr. The superbike is held together by a steel trellis frame which is finished in green colour and features adjustable inverted forks upfront, an adjustable monoshock at the rear, ABS, traction control, launch control, quick shifter and engine brake control. Kawasaki is now eyeing India as a very important market after they recently launching their cheapest offering in the country, the Z250 priced Rs. 3.37 lakhs (on-road, Mumbai).

Only five lucky customers will get their hand on one H2 this year
