KTM 390 Adventure X Updated, Now Gets Cornering ABS & Cruise Control
KTM has updated the 390 Adventure X. The new 390 Adventure X gets feature additions which makes it a more versatile adventure tourer. Previously, these features were only available in the flagship bikes in the manufacturer’s range.
Feature Additions
The feature additions include cruise control as standard with a speed limiter function. There are 3 riding modes, i.e. street, rain and off-road. Additionally, there are also safety aids like cornering ABS and Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC).
MTC allows for better stability in a variety of conditions. This will allow the system to be useful across a range of terrains.
Engine
The KTM 390 Adventure X is powered by the same 399cc LC4C single-cylinder engine. It produces 46 HP at 8500 RPM and 39 NM of torque at 6500 RPM. The engine pairs with a 6-speed gearbox.
Pricing & Market Competition
KTM prices the 390 Adventure X at Rs. 3.03 Lakh (ex-showroom). It competes with Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, Triumph Scrambler 400 X and BMW G 310 GS. The 390 Adventure X offers a thrilling experience from its aggressive engine.
