Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD Spyder Launched, Priced At Rs. 3.54 Crores

This is India’s first Huracán EVO RWD Spyder in Blu Sideris and it was delivered today to its owner

Lamborghini has introduced the Huracan Evo RWD Spyder with a price tag of Rs. 3.54 crores (ex-showroom) today in India, more than year after launching the coupe variant.

Visually, the convertible supercar is instantly recognisable as the Huracan Evo thanks to its inimitable styling. Lamborghini says the Spyder design enhancements optimises drag reduction and downforce.

The soft-top, which is operable at speeds of up to 50 km/hr, says the carmaker, ensures that the cockpit stays relatively quiet. As an added bonus, with the soft-top up or down, the driver can open the rear window, to hear the mighty engine that sits in the middle of the chassis.

And what an engine it is. Displacing 5204cc, the naturally aspirated V10 is good for 610 HP at 8000 RPM and 560 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM and it comes mated to a 7-speed DCT.

Despite the fact that it weighs 1509 kg (dry), the open-top 2-wheel-drive Huracan Evo can do the 0-100 km/hr sprint in 3.5 seconds and go on to hit a top speed of 324 km/hr. It even comes with a P-TCS traction control system that the carmaker says has been specially tuned for this model.

The cabin of the supercar remains the same as the coupe. Thus, the Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD Spyder price gets customers a 8.4-inch touchscreen, smartphone connectivity, among other features.

But, what this car is all about is the driving feel and that can be altered using the ‘ANIMA’ button on the steering wheel. By choosing between ‘Strada’, ‘Sport’ and ‘Corsa’ modes, the driver can either take it easy or grab the car by the scruff of its neck and attack corners at serious speeds.

There are endless upholstery and exterior colour choices on offer
The car has a weight-to-power ratio of 2.47 kg/HP
The soft top takes 17 seconds to stow under the rear clamshell
