Mahindra Imperio Recalled Due To Faulty Rear Axle

Mahindra is recalling about 300 units of the Imperio to rectify an issue with the rear axle.

The Mahindra Imperio is being recalled to fix an issue with the rear axle of the vehicle. While the exact number of affected units isn’t available, it is approximately 300. Units of the Imperio manufactured between April 2018 and June 2018 have been affected with this issue.

Mahindra will directly contact owners of the affected vehicles and carry out an inspection. If any rectification is needed, the company will do it free of cost. Customers can also check Mahindra’s website to see whether their vehicles are part of the recall.

The Mahindra Imperio is a commercial vehicle based on the Xylo’s platform. It comes powered by a 2.5-litre diesel engine. This recall is in line with SIAM’s voluntary code of vehicle recall.
