Mahindra Verito Vibe Spotted On Ad Shoot

Mahindra will be launching the shortened version of the Verito sedan in its hatchback avatar, which will be named Mahindra Verito Vibe on 5th June. The Vibe hatchback will be measuring less than four metres in length to enjoy excise duty benefits and boost up the sales of India’s largest utility vehicle maker. Recently the Verito Vibe has been spotted uncamouflaged, posing for an ad shoot. The particular model wears a light blue shade for the shoot. The front end of the Vibe hatchback looks exactly the same as the sedan apart from the tweaked grille.

The rear end of the Verito Vibe hatchback is the place where the designers have spent most of the time. The rear features a large vertical tail lamp cluster with sporty styling elements, which can attract young buyers. The overall stance of the Verito Vibe looks decent giving a sense of space on the inside. It is expected to be one of the most spacious hatchbacks available in the market. For starters, Mahindra is expected to plonk in a diesel engine only with the Verito Vibe hatchback.

The Mahindra Verito Vibe hatchback will be featuring the Renault sourced 1.5-litre k9k diesel engine producing a peak power output of 68 BHP, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The hatchback will share most of the technical elements, including the interior styling with the Verito sedan. The base version of the Verito Vibe hatchback is expected to retail under Rs. 6 lakhs to compete with the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai i20. We expect the Vibe hatchback to do decent numbers for the utility vehicle manufacturer.
