Maruti Ritz Blues Lounge – A One Off

[singlepic id= 10548 w=540 h=375 float=center]

Maruti Suzuki enjoys converting all its vehicles into modified versions for Auto Expos. The Ritz also received similarly treatment for the 2012 Auto Expo, where the car got some extra fitments to make it look cool. The Maruti Ritz has been launched for quite some time now and a facelift is due (already under testing), so this one off model was pointless. But still what is this Blues Lounge all about. The name surely sounds wacky and wacky it is, because neither is the Ritz a lounge and nor does the addition of blue colour make it a Blues Lounge!

The Maruti Suzuki Ritz Blues Lounge is a one off concept, which was developed to gather some eye candy. Based on the Ritz ZXi, the car uses the same 1.2-litre K-series which produces 84 BHP of power at 4000 RPM and 115 Nm of torque at 4500 RPM. The major changes include the addition of a body kit, new matte grey alloy wheels, racing strip, rear spoiler, reverse guide system, smoked out tail lights to name a few. This surely makes the Ritz look more attractive and Maruti Suzuki should consider offer this as a limited edition model.
