Maruti Vitara Brezza Facelift Spied, Launch Soon

Maruti Vitara Brezza facelift spied undisguised with updated cosmetics.

The compact SUV comes with mildly updated front fascia

Maruti Suzuki is preparing to introduce the Vitara Brezza facelift very soon. The updated compact SUV is likely to be launched in February at the 2020 Auto Expo. The facelifted car has been spied with some mild changes.

The Maruti Vitara Brezza made its debut at the 2016 Auto Expo and now it is due for its mid-cycle update. The car spotted here comes with some changes in the front fascia.

The headlights are all-new which get LED projector headlights and LED DRLs integrated along with chrome bits. The turn indicators are also now positioned in the headlamps since they are not present near the fog lamp housing anymore.

The grille has been revised and gets a chrome treatment. The bumper gets a refresh with new design with the fog lamp housing getting bigger in size. The side profile gets no changes apart from the new alloys. The rear will get revised bumpers and new LED tail lights.

Expect some minor changes in the interior with revised colour theme and updated infotainment system.

Maruti Suzuki won’t offer the Vitara Brezza with diesel engine option. The facelifted model will get a new BS6 compliant 1.5-litre petrol engine only. It is the same unit which powers the Maruti Ertiga and Maruti XL6.

The 1.5-litre petrol engine produces 105 BHP and 138 Nm of torque. It will come with a 5-speed manual transmission and we expect Maruti to offer a 4-speed automatic torque converter option too.

The Maruti Vitara Brezza competes with the likes of Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300. We can expect the bookings to commence soon.
