Revolt Electric Bike Range Revealed By ARAI

The upcoming electric motorcycle has completed its homologation process in the shortest time ever.

It is the first AI-enabled electric bike to get ARAI certification

The first electric motorcycle offering from Revolt Intellicorp has completed its homologation process from ARAI in a record time. It also becomes the first AI-enabled electric motorcycle to be ARAI certified.

Several stringent tests have been conducted for the electric motorcycle to ensure best performance and aesthetics. The e-motorcycle cleared the Gradient Ability Test where it went up an incline smoothly at 10.2 degrees. The battery has been tested in many stages for performance, cycle life, nail penetration, shock, all-weather and waterproofing tests. The lithium battery powering the electric bike passed in a single attempt. ARAI has certified a range of 156 kms on a full charge for the electric-motorcycle.

The company has been working for nearly two years on this electric motorcycle and conducted a lot of tests around it. This made sure that the ARAI approval would not be delayed and have a quick turnaround time. ARAI, which is an autonomous body of the automotive industry, is affiliated with the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises.  The ARAI certification ensures that the Indian roads have safe, less polluting, more efficient and reliable vehicles. ARAI provides services and expertise in the areas of Engineering Services, Certification and Standardisation, Research and Development, Technology Development and Knowledge Initiatives. With the certification process now done for the vehicle, Revolt will be able to keep their June 2019 timeline for the launch of the highly anticipated electric-motorcycle.
