The Hero Splendor remains in the top position while the Honda Activa is dominating the scooter segment.

The Honda Activa remains the best selling scooter even with a dip in sales

The March 2019 2-wheeler sales are out now and the Hero Splendor remains as the top-selling motorcycle in India in March 2019 with minimal growth of 0.98 percent. The Honda Activa is in the second place and is dominating the entire scooter sales while Hero HF Deluxe remains in the third position selling 1,46,162 units. However, the Honda Activa saw a massive dip in sales by 27.77 percent. The Bajaj Pulsar 150 sales have increased by 30.70 percent while the TVS XL Super is right behind the Pulsar 150 in terms of sales, followed by the Bajaj Platina which sold 62,519 units.

The Bajaj Platina has moved up to the 6th position while the Hero passion has moved to 7th place with a 13 percent dip in sales. However, the Hero Glamour has been selling well and it has seen a rise of 22.94 percent. The sales of the TVS Apache has been high and it has now moved to the 11th position in the top 25 list. The Royal Enfield Classic 350 retains its 13th spot even after selling only 36,428 units which is less than the previous month.

Coming to the Honda CB Shine, its sales fell massively by 65 percent while the TVS Radeon motorcycle, the Ntorq 125cc and the Scooty Pep + are showing significant growth in sales from the last month. Sales of the Bajaj Pulsar 180 and the Pulsar 200 NS combined are up by 3.69 percent while the Yamaha Ray has gone up by 8 percent in sales selling 12,671 units compared to the previous month. The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Twinspark has seen a decline in sales by 4.80 percent from last month but has moved up to the 23rd position on the list.
