Simple Energy has introduced the Simple Ultra, a new electric scooter positioned at the top of its lineup. Priced at Rs. 2.35 lakhs, the model is now available for test rides and bookings through the company’s retail outlets and online platform.
The Ultra is part of Simple Energy’s second-generation portfolio and focuses on offering higher range and performance compared to its existing products.
The Simple Ultra is equipped with a 6.5kWh battery pack, which delivers a claimed IDC range of 400 km on a single charge. This places it among the highest range figures currently claimed in the electric scooter segment in India.
Performance figures include a claimed top speed of 115 km/hr, along with acceleration from 0 to 40 km/hr in under three seconds. The scooter also features four levels of traction control, aimed at improving stability across different riding conditions.
The scooter comes with a 7-inch digital display, offering access to ride information and system controls. As with other models in the lineup, the focus remains on combining performance-oriented specifications with everyday usability.
The Ultra joins the updated Simple One and Simple OneS models, which were introduced earlier this year. Within the brand’s portfolio, it serves as the flagship offering, primarily distinguished by its higher battery capacity and extended range.
Simple Energy currently operates close to 70 touchpoints across multiple cities in India, including Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai. The company has indicated plans to expand its presence further into additional cities in the near future, as it looks to scale its retail network.
