Tata Harrier & Safari To Go Green! Here Are The Renderings

The Harrier looked good in “Camo” form and should be fab this time around too

The Tata Safari and Harrier special edition should be launched early next year

Tata is working on special edition models of its Safari and Harrier SUVs and both cars, in their limited edition form, are going to be green, literally.

The automaker is said to have painted the special edition Safari and Harrier in Velvet Green colour on the outside. In addition, the new editions will also have a Black Rhino badge.

Thus, it is clear that Tata is working on a similar variant to the Adventure Persona version of the Safari. Inside, the special edition models will come with a dual tone – black and green – cabin.

The new generation Safari looks ace in any colour!

After having recently discontinued the Harrier Camo edition, Tata is getting ready to reintroduce a green-coloured variant to the 5-seat SUV’s lineup soon. But the paint of this special edition will have a lighter hue when compared to the Camo green colour.

So what will be the name of these special edition models? Surely, one cannot expect Tata to call it Camo edition once again, eh! Although several names do spring to mind, my guess is as good as yours in this one.

No mechanical changes will be made to the SUVs by Tata. Both cars will be powered by the same 2.0-litre, turbocharged diesel engine that is tuned to produce 170 PS and 350 Nm. The transmission options for both are a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.
