Tata Motors announces top-spec Sierra prices with multiple powertrain choices
Tata Motors has released pricing details for the top-spec trims of the new Sierra, expanding the lineup after announcing prices for the lower Smart, Pure and Adventure variants earlier. The Accomplished and Accomplished+ trims now sit at the top of the range, with prices starting at Rs. 17.99 lakhs and Rs. 20.29 lakhs (ex-showroom), respectively. The Sierra competes in the midsize SUV segment, taking on rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Maruti Grand Vitara.
The Accomplished trim is available with four powertrain combinations. The petrol-manual option is priced at Rs. 17.99 lakhs, while the turbo-petrol automatic sits at Rs. 19.99 lakhs. Diesel buyers can choose between a manual version at Rs. 18.99 lakhs and an automatic version at Rs. 19.99 lakhs.
The Accomplished+ variant is offered with turbo-petrol and diesel engines. The turbo-petrol automatic is priced at Rs. 20.99 lakhs, while the diesel is available at Rs. 20.29 lakhs for the manual and Rs. 21.29 lakhs for the automatic.
As for the powertrains, the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine delivers 104 HP and 145 Nm, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCA gearbox. The 1.5-litre diesel engine produces 116 HP and offers 260 Nm with the manual and 280 Nm with the automatic. The range also includes a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 158 HP and 255 Nm, available with 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions.
With the top-spec prices now revealed, the Sierra range spans from Rs. 11.49 lakhs for the base Smart+ variant up to Rs. 21.29 lakhs for the Accomplished+ diesel automatic.
