Like in the month of June, the Maruti Wagon R (22,836 units) was the leader of July 2021 hatchback sales in India. It defeated the Swift (18,434 units) by a good margin this time around as well.

The Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS came third, having registered sales of 9379 units, while Tata retailed 6794 units of the Tiago during the same period.

Then comes the Maruti Ignis with 3797 unit sales and the Hyundai Santro which found 1949 new homes. The Maruti Celerio’s dismal outing in June is temporary and once its replacement goes on sale later this month, things will change.
