The asking price of the Triumph Bonneville Gold Line Edition starts from Rs. 9.95 lakhs

Triumph has launched the Bonneville Gold Line Edition at a starting price of Rs. 9.95 lakhs (ex-showroom) today, in India and has also introduced 3 new special edition models based on the Rocket 3 and Street Twin.

The premium bike manufacturer has added 9 motorcycles – 6 Gold Lines and 3 Special Editions – to its existing portfolio of 18 motorcycles in India.

All of the Gold Line and Special Editions will only be available for a limited period run of 1 year, with deliveries beginning right from this month.

The Gold Line editons feature custom hand-painted pinstripes, and a 2-colour base scheme. Let us go through each of them now.

Triumph Street Scrambler Gold Line Edition –

The artists sign their work with their initials on every Triumph Gold Line model

Featuring a Matt Pacific Blue paint scheme, the Street Scrambler Gold Line edition has a Graphite stripe, gold tank logos and ‘gold line’ logo. It costs Rs. 9,95,000/- (ex-showroom).

It is powered by a 900cc twin engine putting out 65 PS at 7250 RPM and 80 Nm at 3250 RPM. The bike features cartridge front forks and preload-adjustable twin rear shocks, wire-spoked wheels and a Brembo front brake with switchable ABS.

Triumph T100 Gold Line Edition –

Paints used for the gold lining are formulated by mixing a powered colour with a cellulose lacquer

The new T100 Gold Line edition is priced at Rs. 10,09,000/- (ex-showroom) and comes with a ‘Silver Ice’ fuel tank, mudguards and side panels, ‘Competition Green’ tank infill edged with hand-painted gold lining and panel stripes, ‘gold line’ logo, and new white and gold Bonneville T100 logo.

It is powered by a 900cc twin motor delivering 65 PS at 7400 RPM and 80 Nm at 3750 RPM. The bike also features cartridge forks, Brembo front brake with ABS, torque assist clutch and switchable traction control.

Triumph T120 Gold Line Edition –

Triumph says an accessory fit, matching ‘Silver Ice’ flyscreen is available for the bike

Priced at Rs. 11,79,000/- (ex-showroom), the Bonneville T120 Gold Line edition features a ‘Silver Ice’ fuel tank with ‘Competition Green’ tank infill edged with hand-painted gold lining, ‘gold line’ logo, ‘Silver Ice’ mudguards and side panels with ‘Competition Green’ side panel stripes and new white and gold Bonneville T120 logo.

Triumph T120 Black Gold Line Edition –

Both versions of the T120 feature aluminium wheels, cruise control and ride modes

Costing the same amount as the T120 Gold Line, The T120 Black Gold Line edition comes with a Matt Sapphire Black fuel tank, front and rear mudguards, headlight bowl and side panels, Matt Silver Ice fuel tank infill edged with hand-painted gold lining and ‘gold line’ logo.

The scheme complements the blacked-out engine and exhaust system, while the model can also be fitted with a Matt Sapphire Black flyscreen.

Triumph Bobber Gold Line Edition –

Now that is a sight to behold, eh!

Featuring Carnival Red fuel tank and mudguards with gold Triumph tank logos and ‘gold line’ logo, the Bonneville Bobber Gold Line edition costs Rs. 12,75,000/- (ex-showroom). It also comes with Sapphire Black twin stripe design and brushed foil knee pads, edged with hand-painted gold lining.

Power comes from a 1200cc twin engine delivering 78 PS at 6100 RPM and 106 Nm at 4000 RPM. An accessory fit Carnival Red short front mudguard is available for the bike that has Showa suspension, twin Brembo front brakes with ABS, among other things.

Triumph Speedmaster Gold Line Edition –

The bike has Sapphire Black headlight bowl, mudguards and side panels

The new Speedmaster Gold Line edition is priced at Rs. 12,75,000/- (ex-showroom). It has a Silver Ice fuel tank with Sapphire Black twin stripe design and brushed foil knee pads, all edged with gold lining.

Powered by a 1200cc motor churning 78 PS and 106 Nm of torque, the bike has 47 mm Showa cartridge forks, preload-adjustable monoshock, twin Brembo front calipers and more.

Special Editions –

Up next we come to the 3 Special Editions – Street Twin EC1, Rocket 3 R 221 and Rocket 3 GT 221 – that the British bike maker has launched in India today.

Triumph Street Twin EC1 –

Triumph says the special edition celebrates East London’s vibrant motorcycle culture

Priced at Rs. 8,85,000/- (ex-showroom), the new Street Twin EC1 Special Edition is inspired by the custom-classic motorcycle culture of London’s East End – particularly the historic streets of EC1, the iconic London postcode.

Featuring a new Matt Aluminium Silver and Matt Silver Ice fuel tank with hand-painted silver coach lining and EC1 graphics, the special edition model also has a new Street Twin Limited Edition graphic and Matt Aluminium Silver mudguards.

The bike is equipped with a bench seat, 10-spoke wheels, black headlamp bowl, black-finished mirrors, black signature-shaped engine covers, plus a compact LED taillight.

Power comes from a 900cc 2-cylinder engine putting out 65 PS and 80 torques and the bike sports 41 mm cartridge forks, preload-adjustable twin rear shocks, 4-piston Brembo front brake, ABS, switchable traction control, 2 ride modes and so on.

Triumph Rocket 3 R 221 & Rocket 3 GT 221 Special Edition –

The Red Hopper tank and front mudguard literally pop when compared with other components

Named after the 221 Nm of peak torque the models have, the new Rocket 3 R 221 Special Edition and Rocket 3 GT 221 Special Edition feature a unique paint scheme and graphics.

While the Rocket 3 R 221 Special Edition is priced at Rs. 20,80,000/-, the Rocket 3 GT 221 Special Edition costs Rs. 21,40,000/- (prices are ex-showroom).

The motorcycles feature Red Hopper tank and front mudguard, Sapphire Black mudguard brackets, headlight bowls, flyscreen, side panels, rear bodywork and radiator cowls, ‘221’ knee pad graphics and tank-top graphics.

They are powered by a 2458cc 3-cylinder engine putting out 167 PS and 221 Nm of torque and come with all the features the regular variants come with like the fully adjustable suspension, Brembo monobloc brakes, single-sided cast aluminium swingarm, and so on.
