TVS Apache RTR 310 Launch Soon

TVS Draken Side
Likely to be based on the TVS Draken concept

TVS Apache RTR 310 will be more affordable than BMW G310 R

TVS Apache RTR 310 expected to launch by the end of this month. It is likely to be based on the TVS Draken styling.

The Indian two-wheeler maker is finally preparing to launch the much awaited naked version of the Apache RR 310. The production version is expected to take some styling cues from the TVS Draken concept that was showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo.

While the current lot of Apache resembles the 9 year old concept, we can expect a sharper and modern version of the concept vehicle. Yes, it might also look like the BMW G 310 R for parts sharing.

It will be powered by the same 312cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 33.5 BHP and 27.3 Nm of torque. The naked motorcycle might get different mapping for the engine and different sprocketing as well. It is likely to have a top speed of 158 km/hr.

The RTR 310 will run on Michelin Road 5 tyres. It will get the same hardware for suspension and braking. However, it will be tuned more for better city riding dynamics.

It is expected to come with the same features as the RR 310 including TFT screen with bluetooth connectivity and more. The TVS Apache RTR 310 is likely to come with a price tag of around Rs. 2.50 lakhs (ex-showroom).
