Maruti Suzuki introduces new features via Over-The-Air (OTA) update
Maruti Suzuki has upgraded the Baleno, XL6 and Ertiga with new connectivity features. These features will be available via an Over-The-Air (OTA) update for the existing customers. New customers will get these features pre-installed.
With this update these vehicles are now enabled with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additionally, you get turn-by-turn navigation system on the speedometer Multi-Information Display (MID) of the Baleno, Ertiga and XL6. The Baleno gets this features on its heads-up display as well.
Maruti has also introduced an update to Ertiga and XL6 with premium acoustic tuning “Surround Sense” powered by ARKAMYS. It comes with signature ambiences created to suit various moods.
Customers can install this OTA update via their smartphone in their car or download it from the official website. If you still can’t figure out how to install this update, you can visit your dealership and get it installed.
The new additional features add to the convenience of the owners. The OTA update ecosystem is quite attractive and carmakers should consistently update the vehicles to keep the existing customers satisfied.
