Volkswagen India has commenced the deliveries of the Volkswagen Ameo. Bookings for the Ameo started with its first roadshow in the month of May 2016.
A top official from Volkswagen India commented that the Ameo has garnered positive response from potential customers since its debut at the Delhi Auto Expo and from its journey through key cities. He said that the Ameo is ‘Made In India’ and ‘Made for India’ and that they were happy to announce the commencement of deliveries.
The Volkswagen Ameo comes with special care packages so that the owners can benefit from a positive ownership experience along with the best of technology, safety and several first-in-class features at a great price. Volkswagen has put safety on top of its priority list as all variants come with ABS and airbags as standard. The Ameo is now available across all showrooms and can also be booked via a mobile application.
Meanwhile, the TDI version of the Volkswagen Ameo has been spotted testing on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. The power and fuel efficiency figures will receive a bump up as an upgraded turbocharger (locally sourced) is being deployed. Along with the Ameo, we spotted other Volkswagen cars and a Skoda Superb on test recently.
