Volkswagen To Reduce Prices Of Cars Amid GST Reforms, Tiguan R-Line Gets A Price Reduction Of Up To Rs. 3.26 Lakh
Volkswagen is passing on GST reform benefits to customers! Volkswagen is announcing new pricing to take effect from September 22, 2025, ahead of the festive season. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman revised GST rates after the GST Council meeting, leading to this development.
GST Pricing Changes
Volkswagen Passenger Cars India confirmed that it will now make its three key models, i.e. Virtus, Taigun, and Tiguan R-Line, more affordable. Virtus will receive a price cut of Rs. 66,900, and the Taigun will get a reduction of Rs. 68,400. The Tiguan R-Line receives the most benefit, with a substantial reduction of Rs. 3,26,900.
Festive Season Discounts
Volkswagen is offering limited-time festive benefits for early bookings made before September 21, 2025, in addition to GST-linked price drops. Customers can avail the benefits of up to Rs 1.61 lakh on the Virtus, Rs 2.5 lakh on the Taigun, and Rs 3 lakh on the Tiguan R-Line. These offers aim to make Volkswagen’s premium models more attractive during the high-demand festive period.
