Volvo Reduces Car Prices Due To GST Policy Changes, XC90 Receives A Benefit Up To Rs. 6.92 Lakh
Volvo has announced a major price reduction after the new GST 2.0 relief. The revised prices take effect from 22 September 2025. This revision comes at an important time before the festive season.
Pricing Changes
The Volvo XC60 has received a price cut of Rs. 4.79 lakh, enhancing its value proposition. The flagship XC90 benefits the most, with a significant reduction of Rs. 6.92 lakh. After revision, the XC60 costs Rs. 67.10 lakh, while the XC90 is priced at Rs. 96.97 lakh.
Volvo’s electric models remain unaffected as GST changes do not apply to EVs. The XC40 Recharge and C40 Recharge continue unchanged. This keeps the benefit limited to ICE-powered luxury SUVs.
Volvo expects the GST relief and festive offers to boost demand. The company anticipates strong momentum in the luxury SUV segment. With refreshed models, Volvo is confident about growth in India.
