The Austrian manufacturer has given it an aggressive and sporty design language along with a host of new mechanical changes and features on offer.

The new Duke 390 comes with a sleek looking split LED headlamp unit, which will be a unique feature in its segment in India. The fuel tank has been revised in terms of aesthetic and capacity both. It is a 13.4-litre steel tank that adds to the new styling. The seats are also in tune to the new appearance along with the tail section.

KTM is offering a huge TFT display with the Duke 390, this is a fully digital instrument cluster with smartphone integration with optional MY RIDE multimedia interface. The bike now comes with a new frame and sub-frame. The engine has also been upgraded to meet the Euro 4 emission norms.

Powering the new KTM Duke 390 is the same 373.2cc single-cylinder engine that produces the same 44 PS of power but a 2 Nm increase of torque to 37 Nm. It now comes with ride-by-wire tech and continues to offer slipper clutch. Dual channel ABS is being offered as standard equipment. The under-belly exhaust now gets replaced by a full-sized side mounted exhaust.

The brake and clutch levers are now span-adjustable. The bike maker has also addressed the heating issues. The price is expected to go marginally higher when launched in India.
