2021 Jaguar F-Pace SVR
The car is faster than before, says Jaguar

With the bookings of the 2021 Jaguar F-Pace SVR having commenced, its launch should not be far off either

Jaguar Land Rover India has opened bookings for the 2021 F-Pace SVR today. Revealed in December last year, the performance SUV is now faster, looks more sportier, and is loaded with the latest technologies.

On the outside, for a layman, the car would look pretty much the same as before. But, when looked closely, one would be able to see that its design has been changed to enhance airflow and provide aerodynamic benefits.

Interior
It comes with OTA software updates, 3D Surround Camera, and several other features

There is also a new grille, a revised front bumper with a larger lower intake, while the main lighting units that feature DRLs are LEDs.

But, inside, the changes are very apparent. The cabin is sporty, yet luxurious and at the centre of it all sits the new 11.4-inch curved glass touchscreen for the Pivi Pro infotainment.

However, the thing that matters the most in a car such as this is performance and the 2021 F-Pace SVR has spades of it, thanks to making use of a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol motor.

The all-wheel drive features ‘Intelligent Driveline Dynamics’ with rear-wheel drive bias

This lump of an engine puts out 543 BHP and 700 Nm of torque and is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission which sends its power to all 4 wheels. The performance SUV can do the 0-100 km/hr sprint in 4 seconds flat, while its top speed is now 286 km/hr.

Jaguar claims to have tweaked the transmission and dynamics systems thanks to using a new Electronic Vehicle Architecture, the Dynamic mode has been uprated, while the car is also said to offer improved brake feel through the use of a new ‘Integrated Power Booster’.
