2021 Jeep Compass Launched, Priced From Rs. 16.99 Lakhs

2021 Jeep Compass price announced for India, it starts from Rs. 16.99 lakhs for the base variant and goes up to Rs. 28.29 lakhs for the range topping trim (all prices, ex-showroom). It is available in 4 variants and 7 colour options.

The updated Compass gets cosmetic tweaks on the exterior including new headlights, grille and bumper along with new alloys, tail lights and rear bumper. Jeep has introduced new 80th Anniversary edition Compass which comes with full-body colour exterior devoid of black cladding for a premium look.

The interior is all-new since it comes with a redesigned dashboard. The layered styling looks very premium. Select variants get dual tone colour dash while it comes with an all-black interior as standard. The cabin looks quite premium over the outgoing model thanks to the revised styling.

There is a new sharp looking steering wheel. The instrument cluster is all-digital and is a 10.25-inch unit. The touchscreen infotainment system has a 10.1-inch display and is the latest gen UConnect-5 system. With the SIM-based connectivity, it gets connected-car features.

Jeep is offering two engine options with the Compass. There is a 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine producing 163 PS and 250 Nm. This engine is available with a choice of 6-speed manual and 7-speed DDCT transmission. There is no 4×4 on offer for petrol trims.

There is a 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 172 PS and 350 Nm of torque. It is available with 6-speed manual and 9-speed auto transmission options. The diesel engine is available with a choice of 4×2 and 4×4.
