2021 Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace Facelift
Only subtle visual upgrades will be made on the SUV

Volkswagen is set to reveal the 2021 TIguan Allspace facelift on 12th May. The 7-seat SUV will get the same design updates seen on the refreshed Tiguan.

Thus, the SUV will come with new LED headlights with the Intelligent IQ light technology, a new grille with 4-layer chrome lines, sharp and pronounced shoulder lines, LED tail lamps with new light signatures and possibly new alloy wheels too.

The 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace facelift will, according to the German marque, get a technical update as well. Now, the SUV will sport a new instrument cluster and a wide range of online-based services on board due to the MIB3 Infotainment system.

What’s more, like the facelifted 2021 Tiguan, the refreshed Tiguan Allspace should also get premium Vienna leather seats, chrome interior elements, illuminated gear knob, scuff plates, ambient lights and a panoramic sunroof, among other features.

Advanced technical features like new control and assist systems will also be present on board the SUV which will retain several features offered with the pre-facelift model like the powered tailgate.

Powering the SUV will be a 2.0-litre petrol motor good for a maximum of 190 PS and 320 Nm. It will be mated to a 7-speed DSG which will send the engine’s power to all 4 wheels.

Once the Tiguan facelift goes on sale in India this year, the second batch of the Tiguan Allspace is likely to be brought in.

The 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace facelift will be built at 2 different sites. The Tiguan L (for China) will be made in Shanghai, while, the long wheel base version for North and South America and the Tiguan Allspace will be made in Puebla, Mexico.
