2022 Hyundai Creta Facelift Design
Now that is a premium look

The design of the 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift has leaked onto the internet

The complete design of the 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift has leaked and now the car has a more likeable front end. Hyundai debuted this front fascia with the new generation Tucson.

Up front, the ‘Parametric Jewel’ radiator grille with integrated DRLs looks the business and it should be a sight to see the DRLs coming to life when the car is turned on.

There are mild changes to the interior too

As a result of the incorporation of the new grille, the headlights, which are now stacked, have been moved downward in the bumper and sit in a trapezoidal housing.

Also, the opening of the lower air intake has changed a bit and so has the front skid plate and the same sharp styling of the element has been carried forward to the new side skirts and the rear skid plate.

The rear section of the compact SUV is also different now. The tail lamps have been mildly revised, the shape of the tailgate skin above the number plate is different and the additional stop light has been moved from the boot lid to the roof spoiler.

The rear profile seems overdone now

Inside, although the overall layout is very similar to the pre-facelift Creta, there are differences. The model year 2022 Creta will come with new door levers, and new switchgear around the touchscreen and for the air-con.

That said, the facelifted Creta should come with all the features the current model has like the panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated front seats, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Blue Link, auto headlamps, among others.

The wheels have been retained, but sport a different finish

Like the current model, the facelifted Creta should be offered with 1.4-litre turbo-petrol, 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options, and both manual and auto gearboxes for the 1.5-litre motors. The turbo motor does without a manual.

Hyundai is expected to introduce the facelifted Creta here soon after the car is put on sale in markets like Indonesia, where it will be launched on 11th November, 2021.
