2021 Renault Triber Cedar Brown
The Triber has been a good performer for Renault

All of the variants of the 2022 Renault Triber, barring the base trim, will be renamed

The Renault Triber is set to be updated for model year 2022. The compact MPV will come with renamed variants and fewer equipment when compared with the 2021 model.

Let us take a look at the changes each variant of the Triber has undergone.

RXE –

The only variant to have retained its name, the base RXE trim now comes with body colour side under body sill (also in RXE+ and RXL+) and will not feature the ‘Energy’ badge on the tailgate. The latter is applicable to all variants.

RXE+ –

Previously named RXL, this variant of the 2022 Renault Triber comes devoid of front grille chrome garnish and side decals, while the ORVMs and door handles are now finished in Matte Black.

2021 Renault Triber Interior
The features could have been deleted to make way for the upcoming turbo petrol variants

Inside, dash features matte black treatment, air vents get chrome surround and features like the second and third row air vents, cooled centre console cupholders, have been chucked. Renault has added second row power windows and roof rails to this variant though.

RXL+ –

Earlier called the RXT, this grade comes with Mystery Black ORVM caps, and does not feature blacked B-pillar, chrome surround for the instrument cluster, Eco score, driver seat back pocket and a cooled glove box.

RXT+ –

This top-spec variant which was previously termed the RXZ gets a new gear lever and a plastic trim for the door arm rest instead of fabric.

These updates are effective on bookings made from this month and despite the deletion of features, Renault will not reduce the asking price of the MPV (that will remain mechanically unchanged) which ranges between Rs. 5.50 lakhs and Rs. 7.95 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
