Ducati launches the 2025 Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak in India
Ducati India has introduced the all-new 2025 Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak, a motorcycle that merges the brand’s racing heritage with adventure touring capabilities. Designed for riders seeking a dynamic blend of performance, precision and comfort, the Pikes Peak variant represents the sportiest expression of the Multistrada lineup, tailored for both spirited road riding and long-distance touring.
A Fusion of Racing DNA and Adventure Engineering
The Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak draws on Ducati’s MotoGP expertise to deliver sharp handling, agility and advanced control. At its heart lies the 1158 cc V4 Granturismo engine, producing 170 HP at 10,750 RPM and 123.8 Nm of torque at 9000 RPM. The counter-rotating crankshaft enhances stability and agility, while new calibrations for the Race Riding Mode and quickshifter improve responsiveness. The engine also features an advanced rear-cylinder deactivation system to reduce emissions and enhance efficiency.
Precision-Oriented Chassis and Suspension
Ducati has re-engineered the chassis around a 17-inch front wheel and a single-sided swingarm, optimizing geometry for sharper cornering and high-speed stability. The Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 suspension, operating on event-based logic, adapts to riding conditions to balance comfort and control. Braking is handled by Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers and 330 mm discs at the front, ensuring race-grade stopping power.
Advanced Rider Aids and Electronics
Technology remains a core highlight. The Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak introduces Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO), a system that virtually simulates data from 70 sensors to refine traction, braking, and stability controls. It is equipped with a 6-axis IMU and multiple electronic assists, including Ducati Traction Control, Wheelie Control, Slide Control, Power Launch and Quick Shift.
Further enhancing safety, the motorcycle comes with front and rear radar systems offering Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, and Forward Collision Warning – a first for its category. A 6.5-inch full-TFT display with an updated interface provides intuitive access to five customisable riding modes: Race, Sport, Touring, Urban and Wet.
Design and Ergonomics
Visually, the 2025 Pikes Peak retains the signature Multistrada silhouette but emphasizes sportiness with a MotoGP-inspired “Pikes Peak” livery, carbon-fibre detailing, and an Akrapovič titanium silencer. Ergonomic tweaks include higher, rear-set footpegs and lower, narrower handlebars to enhance control during aggressive riding while maintaining long-distance comfort.
Pricing and Availability
The Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak is priced at Rs. 36,16,700 (ex-showroom India). Deliveries have commenced across Ducati dealerships in India. The model is E20 fuel compliant, underlining Ducati’s commitment to performance with sustainability.
