2026 Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally Unveiled, Will Be Equipped With Upgarded Electronics & Ergonomics
Ducati has unveiled the 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally, refining its already capable long-distance adventure motorcycle. Ducati has upgraded its systems, electronics, and ergonomics for better performance. These updates keep it competitive against rivals like BMW’s R 1300 GS.
Design Changes
The 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally introduces two new colour options for India. These include Ducati Red/Brushed Aluminium with black spoked wheels and Jade Green/Brushed Aluminium with gold spoked wheels. Both variants enhance the premium and rugged appeal of the bike.
Engine
Ducati’s 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine produces 167.6 HP at 10,750 rpm and 121 Nm of torque at 8,750 rpm. The engine now includes an extended rear-cylinder deactivation system. This improvement boosts fuel efficiency and lowers emissions during relaxed highway cruising.
Braking & Suspension
Ducati has improved braking with a larger 280mm rear disc and revised brake coordination. The updated setup applies front braking even when using the rear brake. This reduces pitch and improves comfort during two-up riding.
The Adaptive Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) EVO system now offers 200mm travel front and rear. Riders can adjust damping on the fly, independent of Riding Modes. The suspension also adapts automatically to terrain and riding style.
Feature Additions
The bike introduces Ducati Quick Shift 2.0, which features a microswitch-based shift rod for crisper, shorter gear changes. The electronics suite includes radar-based Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Detection. A new Forward Collision Warning system now alerts riders of hazards ahead.
Ducati’s DVO (Ducati Vehicle Observer) algorithm utilizes data from 70 sensors for better control. It refines ABS Cornering and Ducati Wheelie Control for seamless intervention. The system ensures safer, smoother handling across various terrains.
A new Automatic Lowering Device enhances low-speed stability. It lowers the bike below 10 km/h and raises it automatically once moving. This improves balance during stops or tight manoeuvres.
Heated grips with five adjustable levels now come standard for added comfort. A taller, wider windscreen provides better wind protection during long rides. The reworked centre stand makes deployment easier and more stable.
For night rides, Ducati adds Cornering Lights and a “Coming Home” headlight function. It keeps the low beam on briefly after shutdown. These features improve visibility and safety in low-light conditions.
Improved Practicality
Passenger comfort has been improved with repositioned pannier mounts for extra legroom. A reinforced top box mount adds durability for touring use. Multiple seat height options and a lowered suspension kit enhance rider ergonomics.
Outlook
The 2026 Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally blends technology, comfort, and adventure performance seamlessly. It remains one of the most advanced touring bikes available. Ducati plans to launch the bike in India later next year.
