Hyundai has introduced a new Knight Edition of the Venue in India, with prices starting at Rs. 9.70 lakhs (ex-showroom). The special edition is offered on select trims – HX5, HX6T, HX8 and HX10 and commands a premium of roughly Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 25,000 over the corresponding standard variants.
The Knight Edition follows a familiar approach seen on other Hyundai models, focusing primarily on cosmetic changes. It gets a darker exterior theme with blacked-out 16-inch alloy wheels, black roof rails, black bumpers and matte black badging. Red brake callipers add a subtle contrast, while a ‘Knight Edition’ badge on the tailgate differentiates it from the regular version.
Inside, the changes are in line with the exterior treatment. The cabin adopts an all-black theme, replacing the dual-tone finish seen on standard variants. Brass-coloured accents have been introduced on elements like the steering wheel, AC vents and climate control panel, along with matching stitching on the upholstery. The overall layout and equipment list remain unchanged.
Feature-wise, the Venue Knight Edition continues with dual 12.3-inch displays, automatic climate control with rear vents, a wireless charger and a single-pane sunroof. Safety equipment includes six airbags as standard, a rear camera, ADAS features, disc brakes on all wheels and an electronic parking brake.
On the mechanical front, there are no changes. The Knight Edition is available with the same set of engines as the standard Venue: a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. Transmission options vary depending on the engine, including manual and automatic choices.
Alongside the introduction of the Knight Edition, Hyundai Motor India has also updated select variants of the Venue with a dashcam feature. These updates come with minor price revisions ranging from Rs. 8000 to Rs. 24,000 depending on the variant.
Overall, the Knight Edition adds visual differentiation to the Venue lineup without altering its core package, targeting buyers looking for a sportier aesthetic.
