Royal Enfield updates Guerrilla 450 with new variant and feature upgrades

Royal Enfield has introduced updates to its Guerrilla 450 lineup for 2026, headlined by the addition of a new APEX variant and revisions across existing trims. The changes focus on enhancing on-road performance, design differentiation and rider engagement.

The newly launched APEX variant positions itself as a more road-focused version of the Guerrilla 450, featuring revised ergonomics and updated hardware aimed at sharper handling. It gets a more aggressive riding posture through repositioned handlebars and adopts road-biased tyres intended to improve grip, particularly on tarmac and in varying surface conditions.

Alongside the APEX, the Dash and Flash variants have also received updates. These include new tyre compounds designed to offer improved traction, as well as minor cosmetic additions such as a new colour option for the Dash variant. Across the range, updated ride modes now retain the previously selected setting even after the ignition is turned off.

The Guerrilla 450 continues to be powered by the 450cc Sherpa engine, producing 40 PS and 40 Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is built on a steel twin spar frame, with an emphasis on balancing stability, agility and everyday usability.

In terms of features, all variants are equipped with a 4-inch TFT display offering navigation support and smartphone connectivity, aimed at improving convenience and rider information access.

Royal Enfield has also introduced a collaboration with Fairtex, bringing a limited-edition range of riding gear and a custom motorcycle build inspired by the Guerrilla platform. The launch was showcased at a brand event in Guwahati, highlighting the motorcycle’s positioning as a street-oriented performance offering.

Prices for the updated Guerrilla 450 range start at Rs. 2.49 lakhs (ex-showroom Chennai) and go up to Rs. 2.72 lakhs depending on the variant. Bookings are now open, with deliveries scheduled to begin from March 31, 2026.
