Skoda India has introduced the 2026 model year update of its flagship SUV, the Kodiaq, bringing a mix of revised pricing and feature enhancements. The biggest highlight of this update is the introduction of an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite, which is now available on select variants.
The refreshed Kodiaq range now starts at Rs. 36.99 lakhs (ex-showroom), with the entry-level Lounge variant becoming more accessible due to a significant price reduction. Meanwhile, the mid-spec Sportline and top-end Selection Laurin & Klement (L&K) variants have received modest price increases.
With the latest update, Skoda has repositioned the Kodiaq lineup. The base Lounge 5-seater variant is now priced lower by Rs. 3 lakh, making it more competitive in its segment. In contrast, the Sportline 7-seater sees a price hike of Rs. 1 lakh, while the fully-loaded Selection L&K 7-seater becomes costlier by Rs. 50,000.
The updated price structure is as follows:
Lounge (5-seater): Rs. 36.99 lakhs
Sportline (7-seater): Rs. 44.99 lakhs
Selection L&K (7-seater): Rs. 46.99 lakhs
ADAS introduced in higher variants
A key addition to the 2026 Kodiaq is the ADAS package, offered on the Sportline and Selection L&K trims. The system includes features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning with braking support, rear traffic alert and exit warning.
These features aim to enhance both safety and convenience, aligning the Kodiaq with evolving expectations in the premium SUV segment.
The Sportline variant has also been upgraded with equipment previously limited to the top-spec L&K trim. It now includes a 360-degree camera system and an illuminated front grille strip, adding both practicality and visual appeal.
Under the hood, the Kodiaq remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 204 HP, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The SUV retains its all-wheel-drive system as standard across all variants.
