Triumph Thruxton 400 Launched In India At Rs. 2.74 Lakh, Gets Cafe Racer Styling
Triumph has launched the all-new Thruxton 400 in India, reviving an iconic name. The global launch will follow later this year. Triumph prices it competitively at Rs. 2.74 Lakh (ex-showroom).
Styling
Triumph includes the Triumph Thruxton 400 in the brand’s modern classic range with cafe racer styling. The bike features a sculpted tank and clip-on handlebars. A colour-coded bullet seat cowl completes the aggressive look of the bike.
Engine
Powering the Thruxton 400 is the same 398cc TR-Series engine, but it produces 42 HP at 9000 RPM and 37.5 Nm of torque at 7500 RPM. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a torque-assist clutch. The engine gives a higher power output with the help of a new camshaft, allowing to produce the figures in a higher rev band.
Suspension
A revised chassis and upgraded suspension setup enhance its sportier handling. The bike should be nimble and confident through corners. Every ride becomes more engaging and connected.
Features
Features like switchable traction control, ride-by-wire throttle, and a torque-assist clutch are included. These systems improve safety and control. They make the Thruxton 400 intuitive for everyday riders.
