Bajaj Auto has introduced the Dominar 250 after a lot of speculations and spy shots. The lower capacity Dominar is priced at Rs. 1.60 lakhs (ex-showroom).

It is powered by a 248.77cc, single cylinder, 4 stroke, DOHC, 4-valve, liquid cooled, twin spark, FI engine with BS6 compliance producing 27 PS at 8500 RPM and 23.5 Nm at 6500 RPM.

The Indian bike maker claims 0-100 km/hr acceleration timing of 10.5 seconds while top speed is rated at 132 km/hr. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic 37 mm USD fork with 135 mm travel and rear monoshock with 110 mm wheel stroke.

In terms of braking, the Dominar 250 gets 300 mm front disc and 230 mm rear disc. It comes with dual-channel ABS as standard. The front tyre is 100/80/17 and rear is 130/70/17.

It has 13-litres of fuel tank capacity along with 180 kg of kerb weight and 157 mm ground clearance. The bike is available in Canyon Red and Vine Black colour options.

Some of the key features include LED headlights with AHO, slipper clutch, twin barrel exhaust, bungee straps, etc. The equipment list remains more or less the same compared to the elder Dominar 400 sibling.
