The car gets adaptive LED headlights as standard

BMW has launched the X3 M with a price tag of Rs. 99.90 lakhs (ex-showroom), today, in India.

The first-ever BMW X3 M, BMW says, is designed to offer standout performance characteristics, but carry the typical muscular proportions shared by all BMW X models.

There is the familiar kidney grille, sculpted bonnet, deep front bumper with wide air inlets, almost squared wheel arches, a strong shoulder line, and at the back, a spoiler and four exhaust outlets.

Tell-tale M features can be seen all over the car and there are 20-inch light-alloy wheels as well. As standard it also gets adaptive LED headlights, High Beam Assistant and Parking Assistant too.

Inside, the cabin has a sporty and luxurious ambience, but is peppered with M parts like the steering wheel, M-specific instrument cluster, M selector lever, electrically adjustable sports seats with memory.

Seats are wrapped in Vernasca leather, while there are features like a 12.3-inch touchscreen, iDrive Touch Controller, voice control, gesture control (optional), BMW Virtual Assistant, wireless charging, panorama sunroof, among others.

A 3.0-litre M TwinPower Turbo engine powers the car and puts out 480 HP and 600 Nm. It is mated to an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission that sends power to the wheels through the M xDrive all-wheel-drive system. This enables the car to go from 0-100 km/hr in 4.2 seconds and hit a top speed of 250 km/hr.

In addition, there are four driving modes, Active M Differential at the rear, M-specific suspension – double-joint spring strut front axle and five link rear axle, M-specific steering and M compound brakes.

Being a BMW, the car comes with almost all the safety tech one could ask for and furthermore, if the BMW X3 M price is not big enough for one’s wallet, there are several options to personalise the car to one’s tastes too.

Sold as a Completely Built-up Unit (CBU), the X3 M is available in Donington Grey, Toronto Red, Phytonic Blue, Sophisto Grey, Black Sapphire and Alpine White colour options.

All customers who book the car online before 31st December 2020 will enjoy a special hospitality experience from BMW. Also, customers of the X3 M will gain membership to the BMW Excellence Club.
