BMW X3 xDrive30i SportX Launched, Priced At Rs. 56.50 Lakhs
This new trim becomes the entry-level variant of the luxury SUV in India.
BMW has launched the 2021 X3 xDrive30i SportX variant with a price tag of Rs. 56.50 lakhs (ex-showroom, introductory) in India, today.
This new SportX trim becomes the entry-level model of the luxury SUV and is considerably cheaper than the variant that comes next up the ladder.
Available at dealerships from today onwards, the 2021 X3 SportX trim comes with LED headlights, LED fog lamps featuring the new hexagonal design and the distinctive double kidney grille at the front.
Riding on 18-inch alloy wheels, at the back, the SUV features automatic tailgate operation (opening and closing), LED tail lamps, a roof spoiler, and exhaust pipe tips finished in chrome.
Exterior colours customers can have the SUV with include Mineral White, Sophisto Grey, Black Sapphire and Phytonic Blue.
On the inside, the cabin is covered with Sensatec upholstery and features fine-wood trim with pearl chrome finisher and galvanic application on controls, while there are numerous stowage spaces as well.
The 2021 BMW X3 SportX price gets customers a 5.1-inch digital instrument cluster, 8.8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 3D navigation, BMW ConnectedDrive tech, BMW Virtual Assistant, Parking Assistant with rear-view camera and a HI-FI Surround Sound system.
In addition, there are features such as panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting with welcome light carpet (projected from the side sill), automatic 3-zone air-conditioning and a sunblind at the rear.
A 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine producing a maximum of 252 HP and 350 Nm of torque powers the 2021 X3 SportX. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The SUV can do the 0-100 km/hr sprint in 6.3 seconds, thanks to it featuring an all-wheel-drive system. Drivers can take control over the gear changes by using the paddle shifters on the steering wheel, while there are 4 drive modes on offer as well.
Sporting adaptive suspension, the 2021 X3 SportX has an electronically controlled “Automatic Differential Brakes/locks (ADB-X)” and even has extended DTC. As ever, BMW fits the X3 with a multitude of safety features.
