Ford is yet to officially announce the price of the new BS6 model.

Ford Aspire BS6
The BS6 petrol models are expected to be costlier by Rs. 10,000/-

The BS6-compliant version of the 2020 Ford Aspire is being offered with a new set of alloy wheel design. Simultaneously, the compact sedan does not get the Sync3 infotainment system. The carmaker has been quite occupied ensuring that its products meet the BS6 norms before the deadline and have recently introduced BS6-compliant versions of the 2020 Ford Figo and Ford Aspire.

The 2020 Ford Aspire and Figo are offered with both petrol and diesel engine options. First up is the company’s latest 1.2-litre Dragon series petrol engine that churns 96 PS @ 6500 RPM and 120 NM @ 4250 RPM. Second is Ford’s 1.5-litre TDCi diesel engine which makes 100 PS @ 3750 RPM and 215 NM @ 1750-3000 RPM. Both engines will be offered with a 5-speed manual transmission.

While the company is yet to officially announce the price, we expect the petrol models to ask for a premium of Rs. 10,000/- while the diesel trims are likely to get dearer by Rs. 15,000/- to Rs. 20,000/-.
