BSA Scrambler 650 Unveiled Globally, Based On Goldstar 650

BSA has revealed the Scrambler 650 in the UK. The brand first unveiled the Scrambler, based on the Goldstar 650, at the Birmingham Motor Show. The registrations for the Scrambler 650 have commenced, and we expect it to launch in India soon.

Engine

A 652cc DOHC liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine powers the Scrambler 650. This engine produces 45 HP at 6,500 RPM and 55 NM of torque at 4,000 RPM. The bike uses a 5-speed transmission paired with a slip-and-assist clutch for smoother gear transitions.

Suspension

41mm telescopic forks and twin shock absorbers handle suspension duties in the front and rear, respectively. These shocks offer a 5-step adjustable preload for comfort across terrains.

Features

The upright riding triangle and wide handlebars ensure control and agility in both city streets and off-road trails. Confident acceleration and stability are supported by meaty low-end torque. Brembo brakes with dual-channel ABS ensure strong, reliable stopping power.

Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres and wire-spoke alloy rims boost grip and rugged appeal. The bike is available in Thunder Grey, Raven Black, and Victor Yellow. A 12-litre fuel tank and 218 Kg wet weight support long rides.

It offers a commanding road presence with an 820mm seat height and a 1463mm wheelbase. The ergonomics cater to riders seeking both comfort and confidence. Its blend of style and function sets it apart in the scrambler category.

Outlook

The Scrambler 650 signals a bold new chapter for BSA in the modern classic space. Rugged capability combines with premium engineering finesse. This launch strengthens BSA’s legacy of innovation, exploration, and motorcycle excellence.
