BYD opens bookings for Sealion 7 anniversary edition with added benefits
BYD India has opened bookings for the Sealion 7 First Anniversary Edition, introducing a limited period offering for its electric performance SUV. The booking amount has been set at Rs. 70,000/-, with the offer applicable to a fixed number of early customers.
The anniversary edition is being positioned as a milestone update for the model, with added ownership benefits and cosmetic enhancements. The special package will be available to the first 1100 customers who book the vehicle before April 30.
Limited Period Benefits for Early Buyers
As part of the anniversary offer, eligible customers will receive an 11kW home charger along with installation at no additional cost. In addition, BYD is offering a complimentary two-year service and maintenance package.
The model also introduces an extended warranty for the low-voltage battery system. Unlike the standard coverage of six years, the anniversary edition provides an eight-year or 1,50,000 km warranty for the LFP-based low-voltage battery.
Interior Update
The special edition brings a new Tahiti Blue interior theme, which adds a distinct visual element to the cabin while retaining the existing design language of the Sealion 7. Other aspects of the vehicle remain unchanged compared to the standard model.
Variants and Pricing
The BYD Sealion 7 continues to be offered in two variants, both equipped with an 82.56kWh battery pack:
• Premium – Rs. 49.40 lakhs (ex-showroom)
• Performance – Rs. 54.90 lakhs (ex-showroom)

The Sealion 7 is positioned as a premium electric SUV with a focus on performance and features. With the anniversary edition, BYD appears to be targeting early adopters by bundling additional benefits and extended warranty coverage.
