
Student Moto Tech Challenge (SMTC) Launched By CRA Motorsports, To Happen From February 10-12, 2026
CRA Motorsports has organised the Student Moto Tech Challenge for 2026. Registration will open on June 23. The SMTC workshop aims to provide engineering students a chance to learn the basics of motorsport and the key role of automotive engineering.
CRA Motorsports will hold the Student Moto Tech Challenge at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore, Kerala. The challenge will occur over 3 days from February 10-12, 2026. On the first and second days of the challenge, students will have the opportunity to attend the certification workshop.
This workshop will give the students an opportunity to learn team management, ECU remapping, suspension settings, sprocket and tyre management, as well as a rider development course. The workshop will also emphasise vehicle dynamics, motorsport operations, and telematics.
The certified students will then take on the challenge on Day 3. They will be evaluated on Pit Stop Management, Drag Run, Time Attack and Best Manager. The winning team will receive a 6-month internship in Malaysia with the CRA Motorsports Team.
