The Maruti Suzuki Swift is scheduled for launch in the third week of August, 2011 which is almost a month away. But we bring you the very first display of the 2011 Swift, without any camouflage whatsoever. As can be seen in the video above, the new Indian specific Maruti Swift gets VTT for the petrol engine, boosting power to 90 bhp. The Indian Swift gets 15-inch wheels, instead of the 16-inch wheels the car gets internationally. The new Swift variant in the above video is the ZXi and has ABS written on the boot just like the current generation Swift.

The 2011 Maruti Suzuki Swift also gets indicators on rear view mirrors for the Indian model. The Maruti Suzuki badge is present on the left side of the boost just like the current Swift. The interiors are carried over from the international Swift and looks smashing. Overall, Maruti Suzuki seems to have done a fantastic job with the new Swift by bringing almost the same model to India. Externally, the Indian and European Swift look the same. Now whether we will get all the features of the international Swift is something we can confirm only in a couple of weeks time.
