Hero Glamour Xtec Documents

New Hero Glamour Xtec variants coming soon

Classified documents related to Hero MotoCorp’s upcoming Glamour Xtec model have been leaked online, providing insights into what the manufacturer has in store. The leaked documents shed light on the new model’s names, engine specifications, dimensions and potential features.

According to the leaked type-approval documents, Hero MotoCorp has registered three names for its upcoming Glamour series: Glamour Xtec DR, Glamour DR and Glamour DS. This suggests that the company is not only revamping the existing lineup but also introducing new variants to cater to a wider range of preferences and requirements.

Among these new variants, the Glamour Xtec DR stands out as the base offering, with possibilities of both disc and drum brake variants. It’s worth noting that other variants might also sport the same brake options.

The new Glamour Xtec DR is set to be powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder engine that complies with the BS6 Phase 2 standards. It has a power output of 10.72 BHP, same as the current Glamour Xtec model.

The Glamour Xtec DR is expected to have a wheelbase of approximately 1273 mm, while the standard DR/DS models might feature a slightly shorter wheelbase of around 1267 mm. These figures suggest that Hero MotoCorp is improving the riding dynamics in the new Glamour series.

The new Glamour has also been spotted undisguised recently as the launch nears. It comes with a single-pod headlight, single-piece grab rail, telescopic front forks and twin rear shocks.

Currently, Hero MotoCorp offers two Glamour models on sale – the standard variant and the Xtec model. The standard Glamour model is currently priced at Rs. 80,908/- , while the Xtec trims start from Rs. 87,748/- (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
