Honda CB350 BABT new variant teased on social media, launch soon

Honda has teased a new variant of the CB350 motorcycle with BABT nomenclature. The sneak peek, shared on Honda India’s social media handles, suggests an emphasis on classic design elements, potentially introducing a new addition to the CB350 lineup.

The teaser revolves around the CB350 BABT, expected to showcase a classic aesthetic that might include an all-black colour scheme. While the teaser images maintain an air of mystery, a close look at the front alloy wheel reveals hints of the bike’s classic design. Notably, the placement of the front fender at the bottom of the fork pays homage to classic styling cues.

Other elements to notice here include circular ORVMs, brown split seats with white stitching and a sizeable black finished grab handle.

Underneath the retro-inspired exterior, the CB350 BABT is expected to draw power from the same 348cc, single-cylinder engine found in the standard CB350 model. It produces 20.8 BHP and 30 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

The new variant is expected to offer similar features like LED lights, Honda Selectable Torque Control, Honda Smartphone Voice Control system, assist and slipper clutch and a side stand with engine inhibitor.

Honda has not officially disclosed the launch date. However, it is expected to hit the showrooms in the next few weeks to compete with the Royal Enfield Classic 350.
