Honda Launches The Gold Wing Tour 50th Anniversary Edition, Priced At Rs. 39.9 Lakh (ex-showroom)
Honda has launched the Gold Wing Tour 50th Anniversary Edition in India. As the name suggests, this edition celebrates 50 years of the Gold Wing nameplate, which debuted globally in 1975. Various unique bits differentiate this special edition from the rest of the lineup.
Design Changes
The Gold Wing Tour 50th Anniversary Edition features a special Bordeaux Red Metallic shade. Additionally, black accents with golden bordering enhance the look of the paint. Overall, this paint scheme helps to accentuate the imposing presence of the bike.
Features
In terms of features, Honda has given the Gold Wing Tour a 7-inch colour TFT display. It has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as a new “since 1975” graphic. Honda upgraded the speakers to provide rich sounds at high speeds with an electrically adjustable windscreen, prioritising comfort.
Additionally, the Gold Wing Tour receives Bluetooth Connectivity, 2 USB-C ports, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and much more.
Engine
The Gold Wing Tour is powered by a 1833cc liquid-cooled flat 6-cylinder engine. It produces 124 HP and 170 NM of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed DCT transmission.
Four riding modes, i.e. Tour, Sport, Econ, and Rain, alter the power output in the respective scenarios.
Safety Features
Honda fits the Gold Wing Tour with safety aids to protect the riders while handling all the power and weight. It features a Throttle-By-Wire (TBW) system, dual-channel ABS, traction control and Airbag.
