The official unveil of the Honda Hawk 11, the Japanese bike manufacturer’s newest retro-style cafe racer, has taken place at the 2022 Osaka Motorcycle Show.

The bike comes with a simpler digital instrument display

Using the Africa Twin adventure motorcycle’s platform, the Hawk 11 sports a circular headlight with DRL, a cafe racer fairing, muscular fuel tank, step-up seat, a short tail section and a chunky exhaust canister.

Riding on alloy wheels, the motorcycle has twin discs up front and a single disc at the back, which should provide enough stopping power to bring the bike to a halt.

However, with those uniquely positioned rear-view mirrors, one might find it difficult to see what’s coming from behind while executing those hard stops.

Power comes from a 1084cc parallel-twin motor. But, the power and torque figures have not yet been announced by Honda. It is expected to come with the DCT option in addition to the 6-speed manual transmission.

What was disclosed during the Honda Hawk 11 unveil is that the cafe racer will come with 3 riding modes, a customisable user mode, traction control and adjustable engine brake control, and a few other ubiquitous safety tech.

Since the Africa Twin is sold in India, and the NT1100 has also been patented here, Honda is expected to introduce the Hawk 11 to the market sometime in the future.
