Hyundai Electric Sedan To Be Showcased At 2018 Auto Expo

Hyundai electric sedan, upcoming small car and the facelifted i20 are expected to be showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo.

Hyundai Kona Electric will debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show

Hyundai is expected to showcase its electric vehicle concept at the 2018 Auto Expo and it is going to be an electric sedan. Technical and other details on the vehicle at this point are sketchy and the Korean carmaker is also known to be assessing an all-electric Kona SUV for a possible India launch.

The Creta maker isn’t just stopping at that. At the 2018 Auto Expo, it is also expected to showcase the i20 facelift and the upcoming small car (a rival to Maruti Celerio and the Santro’s replacement). The compact hatchback is known internally as ‘Hyundai Family Concept’ and is expected to replace the i10. The vehicle gets a tall boy silhouette allowing for maximum space inside the cabin.

Shifting gears to the premium hatchback segment, the facelifted i20 has been spotted testing various times on Indian roads. Typical of every Hyundai these days, the premium hatchback gets the cascading effect grille, new alloy wheels and minor tweaks to the headlight, bumpers and the tail-lights as well. An updated touchscreen infotainment system is also likely to make its way into the cabin of the facelifted i20. The Elite i20 rivals the Maruti Baleno, Volkswagen Polo and Honda Jazz.
